The HPRMS Annual Awards: Call for Nominations

It's Time for Your Achievements to be Recognized by Your Peers!

Deadline: May 3, 2013

The Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of New York is seeking nominations for our fourth HPRMS Annual Awards. The award(s) will be presented at our annual dinner in June 2013.

Recognition by the Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society of Greater New York (HPRMS) is especially meaningful because it is one of the few PR and marketing awards programs judged exclusively by those in the healthcare profession, who recognize the special communication challenges in our industry. This is also one of the few competitions that is free, ensuring that entry is compared to a wide-array of competitors, not just those with the resources to pay the substantial fees required for many award programs.

Our judges include leading professionals from some of New York's most prestigious academic medical centers, agencies, and hospitals. These awards honor individuals whose performance in marketing or public relations has had a major impact on behalf of an organization. Individuals must be nominated for their work on a specific healthcare program or initiative, and that work must demonstrate true "above and beyond" leadership and contributions to the organization.

HPRMS may bestow two awards--one for public relations and one for marketing--in a given year, or it may award just one, depending on the determination of the HPRMS award jury. HPRMS does not limit candidates to those working directly for an organization; someone from an agency or in some other relationship can also be considered on her/his merits as well.

How to Submit a Nomination

Email the following information to Leslie Isenegger at Isenegger@gnyha.org. Self nominations are permitted. All nominations must be received by Friday, May 3, 2013.

1) Candidate's full name, title, organization, address, and telephone number.

2) Description of the candidate's healthcare program or initiative, and benefits to the organization.

3) Summary of the candidate's role in the healthcare program or initiative.

4) Attach any publications, media, or awards from the program or initiative and any other materials that help to demonstrate its success.

5) Please also include the name and contact information of the direct supervisor or client, as well as of the nominator if it is not a self nomination.

Nominations may also be mailed to:
